Program Description

Our toddler NIDO classes follow a gradual separation model. During the Fall, children attend class with a parent or caregiver, with the guidance of our NIDO teachers. In December/January, the children begin the separation process, and parents/caregivers are invited to join Dr. Jennifer Vest for conversation and connection in the nearby Ware Room for part of this time. Once completing the separation process, children attend class independently with the support of the NIDO teachers. The Toddler class includes time for choice play, gross motor exploration, stories and songs, and a snack---a class filled with the joy of growth and learning for which All Souls School is known.

Registration Information

Enrollment for the NIDO Class for the 2025-2026 school year is now open. Registration remains open until classrooms are at capacity (10 children). Click here for the REGISTRATION FORM

Registration and enrollment for the NIDO program is a separate process from admission into All Souls School's nursery school program. Enrollment in the NIDO toddler program does not imply, guarantee, or prioritize admission into the nursery school program. Families interested in applying to All Souls School for the nursery school program (ages 2-5 years) will need to complete the regular admissions process with our Director of Admissions, Susan Malone, according to the admissions guidelines established by the School and ISAAGNY.
