Overview

The NIDO (Italian for "nest") is an intentionally designed program and space for children ages 0-2 years at All Souls School. Inspired by the highly-regarded nidos (infant/toddler centers) of Reggio Emilia, Italy, and informed by the research and practice of Dr. Emmi Pikler and Magda Gerber, the NIDO program brings together toddlers, parents, caregivers, and teachers in a collaborative community of growth, learning, and support. Classes are held in the recently renovated former "chapel" space at the entry of All Souls School.
