The NIDO (Italian for "nest") is an intentionally designed program and space for children ages 0-2 years at All Souls School. Inspired by the highly-regarded nidos (infant/toddler centers) of Reggio Emilia, Italy, and informed by the research and practice of Dr. Emmi Pikler and Magda Gerber, the NIDO program brings together toddlers, parents, caregivers, and teachers in a collaborative community of growth, learning, and support within the unique context of New York City. After years of planning and eighteen months of construction, we are thrilled to begin registration for this exciting addition to the All Souls experience. Classes will be held in the newly renovated former "chapel" space at the entry of Wiggin House (All Souls School building).
